It has been claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked US President Donald Trump to launch a new attack on Iran immediately after the midterm elections on November 3. It was alleged that the phone call between the two leaders was tense, and it was stated that Netanyahu pressured Trump for military intervention while negotiations between the US and Iran were ongoing.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was alleged to have pressured US President Donald Trump to order a new attack on Iran.

HE CALLED FOR AN "ATTACK" IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS

According to the report by the American Axios news platform, based on US and Israeli sources, Trump and Netanyahu held a phone call yesterday.

During the call, the course of the negotiations the US is conducting with Iran and the possibility of the parties re-entering conflict were discussed.

Sources claimed that during the call, Netanyahu pressured Trump to order a new attack on Iran immediately after the midterm elections on November 3.

An Israeli source said the call was "difficult," while a US source described it as "direct."

The White House and the Israeli Prime Minister's Office have not yet commented on the call.

TRUMP HAD INDICATED THAT NEW ATTACK PREPARATIONS COULD BE UNDERWAY

Speaking to journalists at his Mar-a-Lago estate in the Palm Beach area of Florida, Trump had argued that US military operations had seriously weakened Iran's armed forces and nuclear infrastructure.

Trump said, "There are still one or two facilities, I could say, that we need to be concerned about. But we can do that in 10 minutes. So we have such a plan."

Asked about possible negotiations between Washington and Tehran mediated by Qatar, Trump had indicated that preparations for new military action could be underway.

Trump had avoided answering a question about whether the US would resume military operations against Iran within the next week.

Regarding progress in the negotiations, Trump had assessed, "They are going well, but they are not very reliable. They make a deal, then back out."

THE TALKS IN DOHA ARE ON THEIR THIRD DAY

Meanwhile, the talks between Iranian and Qatari delegations in Doha aimed at ending the war are continuing on their third day.

It was claimed that the Qatari mediators are also maintaining direct contacts with US Vice President James David Vance, Trump's Middle East Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

No official statement has yet been made by the White House and the Israeli Prime Minister's Office regarding these claims.
