There was a protocol crisis between CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Dilruba Kayserilioğlu, who was arrested due to a street interview and later released.

Clarifying the issue of protocol, CHP leader Özel stated during a live broadcast that he made a mistake regarding Kayserilioğlu. Özel said, "It was wrong to include her in the protocol without correcting her words." He added, "They told me there was a surprise for you. Dilruba came and sat down. It was wrong for someone who is thought to have insulted the AK Party to sit in the protocol without correcting her words."

In response to Özel's remarks, Dilruba Kayserilioğlu gave a strong reply. In a statement on her social media account, she said:
