Russian President Vladimir Putin made notable statements regarding the end of the war in Ukraine. Stating that Russia and Ukraine need to reach an agreement between themselves, Putin said that other countries, including the US and China, could support the process. Leaving the door open to the possibility of peace, the Russian leader said, 'So, is there a chance for a solution? I think there is.'

A striking message came from Putin regarding the future of the war. The Russian leader stated that an agreement could be reached between Moscow and Kiev, saying there is still a chance for a solution.

"RUSSIA AND UKRAINE NEED TO REACH AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THEMSELVES"

Speaking at the plenary session of the 11th Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok, Putin evaluated the initiatives carried out to end the war in Ukraine. Putin stated that the solution should mainly be found between Moscow and Kiev, using the following expressions: "Russia and Ukraine need to reach an agreement between themselves. Other countries, including the US and China, are ready to support this process. Ultimately, the issue must be resolved between the parties to the conflict. These are Russia and Ukraine. We believe this is the right approach. We thank everyone who tries to contribute to the resolution of the issue. So, is there a chance for a solution? I think there is."

"STATE TERRORISM" ACCUSATION AGAINST ZELENSKIY

While mentioning the possibility of peace, Putin also used quite harsh expressions towards Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. Putin, who claimed that Zelenskiy made threats against Russian civil aviation, said, "This is a manifestation of state terrorism. This makes it difficult to conduct peace negotiations. Ukraine's Western allies, who remain silent on this, become accomplices of international terrorism."

NOTEWORTHY MESSAGE TO TRUMP

Putin stated that contacts with the US continue and said they want to re-establish relations with Washington. The Russian leader used the expressions: "I hope these contacts will continue. We are in favor of re-establishing full-format relations with the US, but this depends not only on us but also on the American side. Trump is interested in this. I hope this will lead to positive results." Putin also stated that contacts with Ukraine continue through intelligence services.

Putin also criticized Germany's decision to close Russia's Consulate General in Bonn.
