Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş stated regarding the Nursery and Daycare Centers Regulation published in the Official Gazette and put into effect, 'We have clarified the opening, permit, and operational processes of nurseries and daycare centers that have been and will be established to serve our nation by public institutions and organizations.'
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that the Regulation on Nurseries and Day Care Centers has been published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
“WE CLARIFIED THE OPENING, PERMISSION AND ACTIVITY PROCESSES”
In her post on social media, Göktaş stated, "We have clarified the opening, permission, and activity processes of nurseries and day care centers that have been and will be established to serve our nation by public institutions and organizations," and shared the following information about the regulation:
"We set physical and institutional standards to protect the safety, health, and development of our children. We regulated the criteria regarding the qualifications of institution personnel. We activated regular monitoring and inspection systems through our provincial directorates. We introduced sanctions and closure provisions for situations risking our children's safety. We ensured that data regarding the institutions, personnel, and children receiving services are tracked through the central information system. May it be auspicious and beneficial for our beautiful children and our great Turkish family."
