In the protests led by Ekrem İmamoğlu in Saraçhane, where the İBB campus is located, a decision was made to release 5 individuals who were arrested, with a travel ban and judicial control conditions. Additionally, the house arrest restrictions for these 5 individuals were lifted, as well as the judicial control measures regarding travel abroad for 15 other individuals.
The Istanbul 6th Criminal Court of First Instance issued a release order for 5 individuals who were arrested for participating in protests in Saraçhane, Istanbul, under the condition of not leaving the country and judicial control.
A total of 278 people were arrested for participating in the protests that began with the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu and continued after his arrest.
RELEASE ORDER FOR 5 DETAINEES
The Istanbul 6th Criminal Court of First Instance has taken up the case involving 28 individuals, including 5 who are detained. The court panel decided that the hearing will be held on July 16.
During the preliminary examination, the court decided to release the 5 individuals detained in Marmara Closed Prison and Üsküdar/Paşakapısı Closed Prison under the condition of not leaving the country and judicial control.
HOUSE ARREST DECISION FOR 5 INDIVIDUALS HAS ALSO BEEN LIFTED
The court lifted the house arrest ban for the 5 individuals, as well as the judicial control measures regarding leaving the country for 15 individuals.
