Famous rock star Jon Bon Jovi saved a woman who attempted suicide on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville. The incident occurred on Tuesday night during the filming of the 62-year-old artist's music video. In the footage shared by the police, it can be seen that Bon Jovi approached the woman and safely pulled her back from the railing. Nashville Police Chief John Drake commended the star's actions. Bon Jovi has sold over 120 million albums worldwide with his band, which he formed in 1983. However, he has been battling health issues recently. The artist underwent a rare throat surgery in June 2022 and is slowly regaining his vocal abilities. In an interview with People magazine, Bon Jovi said, "I'm slowly getting back to it," and he refuses to use playback during live performances. He shows his determination by saying, "I'd prefer to be hit by a bus on the highway" regarding this matter. Doctor Robert Sataloff explained that the thinning of Bon Jovi's vocal cords is due to aging rather than injury or illness. He summarized the situation by saying, "It happens to all of us eventually." Despite the challenges he has faced, Bon Jovi continues his music career, and his latest album "Forever" was released on June 7th.
