Zelensky stated that as a result of the prisoner exchange with Russia, 307 Ukrainians were brought back to their homes today, saying: "Today marks the second day of the 1000 for 1000 prisoner exchange agreement reached in Turkey. In just two days, 697 people have returned. We expect it to continue tomorrow."

Zelensky pointed out that among the 307 people exchanged today were Ukrainian soldiers, border security officers, and national guards, thanking everyone who supported the prisoner exchange process. In his message, Zelensky stated, "Our goal is to free every person from Russian captivity."
With the agreement reached with Ukraine during the Istanbul Peace Negotiations, a total of 390 prisoners, including 270 soldiers and 120 civilians, were mutually exchanged yesterday between Russia and Ukraine.
PEACE SUMMIT IN ISTANBUL
Negotiations were held last week between Russia and Ukraine at the Presidential Dolmabahçe Working Office in Istanbul, hosted by Turkey.
The two sides agreed on conducting a large prisoner exchange of "1000 for 1000," presenting their views on a possible ceasefire in detail, and then continuing the negotiations.
