The Director of the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov, claimed that the UK is preparing to carry out sabotage on the TurkStream natural gas pipeline in collaboration with Ukraine.

The Director of the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB), Aleksandr Bortnikov, made a shocking claim regarding the TurkStream natural gas pipeline.

Bortnikov attended the meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

According to reports in the Russian media, Bortnikov stated during his speech that "Western countries are trying to obstruct the process of establishing a new system of international relations," adding that "the intelligence services of NATO countries have a hand in the emergence of unstable regions in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe."

"THERE IS INFORMATION ABOUT SABOTAGE PREPARATIONS"

Aleksandr Bortnikov said, "According to the information we have obtained, terrorist acts and sabotage on Russian territory are being carried out under the auspices of British intelligence services. MI6 is planning attacks by Ukrainian sabotage groups on Russian regions and critical infrastructure using drones (UAVs) and unmanned surface vehicles. There is information that the British, in cooperation with Ukrainian intelligence, are preparing for sabotage against the TurkStream natural gas pipeline."

While negotiations between Russia and Ukraine continue, Bortnikov noted that attacks on Russian territory are being carried out, claiming that "this is part of England's plan and that preparations for a sabotage attack on TurkStream are being made."
