A woman reacted to her HGS debt of 16 TL increasing to 30,000 TL with interest and penalties, stating that she had not been informed. Her video quickly became a topic of discussion, and many users shared their complaints, noting that similar small toll fees had unexpectedly turned into large fines without any prior notice.

The Fast Transition System (HGS) has caused a new debate due to a victimization experienced by a woman, who stated that her HGS debt of 16 TL has increased over time to 1,600 TL, and then to 30,000 TL with penalties, criticizing her situation with harsh words.

"ONE SHOULD CALL, ONE SHOULD SEND A MESSAGE"

The woman expressed her frustration by stating that she received no information, saying, "One should call, one should send a message, one should inform. What kind of debt is this, what kind of interest is this?"

THERE ARE MANY VICTIMS

The post quickly became one of the most viewed videos on social media. In the comments section of the video, many users shared their experiences of similar situations.

Some of the comments are as follows:

  • The same incident happened to me on the Niğde–Ankara road. I paid 6,300 TL for a 560 TL passage fee.
  • I paid 14,000 TL for a 350 TL passage penalty and ended up in collections.
  • Unfortunately, I was also scammed in the same way.
  • Even if you have money in your HGS account, the system does not take the money, and there is no notification. Days later, a huge debt appears.

The recent increase in HGS penalties and interest burdens has been criticized by many users due to a lack of communication and systemic issues.
