Before the new legislative year of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Saadet Party Hatay Deputy Necmettin Çalışkan, who made special statements to Haberler.com, emphasized that the region has turned into a fire circle due to Israel's attacks. He underlined that Turkey needs to engage in international cooperation on this issue.

"THERE ARE ISSUES THAT POLITICS NEEDS TO SOLVE"

Saadet Party Deputy Çalışkan stated: "We experienced a very tense period during the July holiday. At the beginning, it seems that the completion of the unfinished files will continue that tension. Some people in our country think they can benefit from the tense environment of the country. This is not true. There are problems that politics needs to solve. Last year, a total of 70 laws were discussed, 50 of which were international agreements. Only 20 of them, 13 of which are omnibus laws. Therefore, there are 7 laws that came out. We experienced a very stagnant period with laws like the mining law, tourism law, and tax law. My wish is for this period to be a more beneficial one. Important issues should be discussed for the benefit of the nation and the country, but if we look at the current situation, I cannot say that I am very optimistic, but the fire has already reached our home."

"THE PRESIDENT SAW THE DANGER"

"The war that has been ongoing in Gaza for over a year has gained a new dimension. It has transitioned to a global status. The Zionist occupying killers are not only committing genocide in Gaza, but they have also targeted 5 different countries simultaneously: Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Yemen. However, we must clearly understand that the next target after these 5 is directly Turkey. The President has seen this, which is why he has moved towards signing a peace agreement with the President of Egypt on one hand, and extending an olive branch to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on the other. No results have been achieved yet, but it must be done because we are truly in a very dangerous situation."

"TURKEY MUST TAKE JOINT STEPS WITH REGIONAL COUNTRIES"

"In the upcoming legislative period, current laws will definitely be discussed, but the main agenda should be this: the fire circle around us. What steps can be taken regarding this? These should be the focus. If we continue to send fuel to Israel through third countries while giving messages to the stands like 'Murderer Israel', this fire will burn us directly. Sincerity is required. Today, the danger is very serious. This is not a doomsday prophecy, it is simply the events we are experiencing. In this regard, if Turkey takes steps, it must show a sufficiently determined stance, and then contribute to the calming of this fire by taking steps with regional countries such as Iran, Syria, Egypt, and Pakistan. Israel is an island country in the region. It is surrounded entirely by Muslim countries. Therefore, if we close our airspace and territorial waters to these occupying killers, Israel cannot even breathe. But we see that today the government is even directing protests in our country. Go raid a certain café, but do not say a word against BOTAŞ. Go organize a photo exhibition in a certain square, but if there is a protest demanding realistic steps towards the government, if it is foreign, they are deported, if it is local, they are beaten. Unfortunately, we are faced with such a hypocritical attitude. Immediate sincere steps must be taken regarding the genocide happening in Gaza and Lebanon, and immediate reactions must be shown.

"REALISTIC STEPS MUST BE TAKEN FOR THE EARTHQUAKE REGION"

"The grievances of the people in the earthquake region continue as before. At this point, work should be done not by sending a daily visitor to the region and posing, but by taking realistic steps. Of course, some steps have been taken, but these actions are extremely insufficient in the face of needs."
