In the context of a drug investigation, Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran, who was summoned for questioning as a 'suspect' by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, arrived at the courthouse. Saran's statement process has been completed. The questioning lasted for more than 2 hours.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has summoned Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran for questioning in an investigation regarding 'drug-related' charges, including 'supplying narcotic substances' and 'facilitating the use of narcotic substances.'
CAME TO ISTANBUL AT MIDNIGHT
It was learned that a search was conducted at Saran's home last night while the Fenerbahçe President was abroad. As soon as Saran learned about the investigation, he returned to Turkey. He was welcomed by officials and fans upon arriving in Istanbul by private jet in the late hours of the night.
CAME TO THE COURT TO GIVE A STATEMENT
Fenerbahçe President Saran arrived at the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan this morning to give a statement to the prosecutor.
GAVE A STATEMENT FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS
Sadettin Saran, who was abroad, came to Istanbul by private jet late at night to give a statement to the prosecutor. He was welcomed by Fenerbahçe fans at the General Aviation Terminal of Atatürk Airport and then went to the Istanbul Courthouse to give his statement. Saran's statement process has been completed, lasting more than 2 hours.
WILL PROVIDE BLOOD AND HAIR SAMPLES
According to journalist Emrullah Erdinç, after the statement, Sadettin Saran will be sent to the Forensic Medicine Institution to provide blood and hair samples. After the procedures are completed, he will be brought back to the Çağlayan Courthouse.
CHARGES AGAINST SARAN
It has been learned that the charges against Sadettin Saran include supplying narcotic substances and facilitating the use of narcotic substances. Additionally, CNN Türk reporter Merve Tokaz stated in a live broadcast that Saran is also accused of "manufacturing and trafficking narcotic substances."

After being summoned for questioning, Saran's lawyer made the following statement: "Due to the news reflected in the media regarding our President Mr. Sadettin Saran, it has become necessary for me to provide the following information at his request.
Our President Mr. Sadettin Saran has gone abroad to attend the Olimpia Milano – Fenerbahçe Beko match played last night and to conduct some transfer negotiations.
He has been informed about the judicial process that has been reflected in the public. After being made aware, he has initiated his return process to our country and will enter Turkey on the first available flight. Necessary updates regarding the matter will continue to be provided by me. We present this information to the public."
