After the restructuring at the Beşiktaş Football Academy, some individuals parted ways with the organization. However, a shocking development occurred following the departure of these individuals. An employee who was let go by Beşiktaş went to the Fulya Hakkı Yeten Facilities to return the vehicle assigned to him and collect his personal belongings, during which he deleted the data of over 3,000 players that he had kept on record on the computer during his tenure.
Recently, moves were made towards restructuring at the Football Academy in Beşiktaş. In line with these moves, the paths of Chief Scout Haluk Çakar and scouts Nejdet Ergün, Haluk Duranoğlu, Haydar Etik, Mehmet Kasım Gündüz, and Değer Batmaz were separated.
SEPARATIONS
The black-and-white club published an official statement on its website on April 11, 2025, regarding the separations. The statement read, "As part of the restructuring efforts being carried out in our Football Academy, we have parted ways with Chief Scout Haluk Çakar and Scouts; Nejdet Ergün, Haluk Duranoğlu, Haydar Etik, Mehmet Kasım Gündüz, and Değer Batmaz. We thank Çakar, Ergün, Duranoğlu, Etik, Gündüz, and Batmaz for their services to our club and wish them success in their future careers."
SAID HE WOULD COLLECT HIS BELONGINGS
One of the individuals sent away by Beşiktaş stated that after being dismissed from his duties, he would go to the Fulya Hakkı Yeten Facilities to return the vehicle assigned to him and also collect his personal belongings from his office.
DELETED THOUSANDS OF DATA
The individual in question, who entered the room he worked in, deleted over 3000 player data records that he had kept on his computer during his tenure. The incident came to light when the current coaches, who were present during the training, later wanted to check the data for work purposes. The deleted data was recovered by the club's expert personnel, thus preventing a significant data loss. Furthermore, it was noted that the individual who parted ways also destroyed written reports.
