In her speech at the Knesset, Israeli far-right lawmaker Michal Waldiger, who defended the killing of Palestinian children in Gaza, stated, "There are no innocents in Gaza. We saw what happened on October 7. They are Nazis. Anyone who wants to harm the State of Israel should be killed."
As the Israeli army's attacks continue unabated in the Gaza Strip, protests against this massacre are rising worldwide. However, statements coming from within Israel are further inflaming reactions. Michal Waldiger, a far-right member of the National Religious Party – Religious Zionism in the Israeli parliament Knesset, has sparked outrage with her statements.
CALLED FOR THE KILLING OF CHILDREN
During a Knesset session, Waldiger drew attention with her remarks targeting Palestinian children in a debate with Arab member Ahmad Tibi. Waldiger claimed that "there are no innocent people in Gaza," arguing that "everyone who poses a threat to Israel - including children - should be killed."
"WE SAW WHAT HAPPENED ON OCTOBER 7"
Waldiger argued that Israel's attacks on Gaza are 'not sufficient' and 'should be harsher,' stating, "There are no innocent people in Gaza. We saw what happened on October 7. They are Nazis. Everyone who wants to harm the State of Israel should be killed. I hope my son will kill everyone who comes in front of him and wants to harm the State of Israel, including children."
"NO OTHER OPTION LEFT"
Claiming that Hamas uses women and children as human shields, Waldiger attempted to defend her scandalous remarks by stating that there is 'no other option left' in such situations.
ISRAEL SECURITY CABINET APPROVED
Meanwhile, the Israeli security cabinet approved a plan on May 4 to expand and make permanent the occupation in the Gaza Strip. Israeli media reported that the plan consists of three phases, and if a ceasefire agreement is not reached during the preparation phase, which will last until U.S. President Trump's Middle East tour ends, intense attacks will continue, and the second phase will involve the expulsion of Palestinians in Gaza to the south. It was noted that the Israeli army would not withdraw from the areas it has captured, unlike previous instances, and would continue the occupation in those places.
250 PALESTINIANS LOST THEIR LIVES IN 36 HOURS
The UN announced that at least 250 Palestinians have lost their lives in Gaza, where Israel continues its attacks, in just the last 36 hours. The humanitarian crisis is deepening in the region where all crossings have been closed for 75 days.
