The "hotel room" allegations raised by CHP member Özkan Yalım in his statement of effective remorse caused a huge stir. Gamze Pamuk Ateşli, whose name was mentioned in the incident, reacted to the allegations with very harsh words and announced that she would initiate legal action.
The statements given by CHP member Özkan Yalım within the scope of active remorse have ignited a new debate in Turkish politics. Following the allegations made by Yalım about CHP Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, Gamze Pamuk Ateşli, who was named, issued a very harsh statement.
"HOTEL ROOM" ALLEGATION BECAME A HOT TOPIC
In his statement, Özkan Yalım included an incident that allegedly took place in 2018 during the work of the commission established by the CHP against the privatization of sugar factories, at a hotel in an eastern province. Yalım claimed in his statement that Veli Ağbaba asked him for whiskey, and after he bought the whiskey, Bursa Party Assembly member Gamze Pamuk Ateşli and Muğla Party Assembly member Gizem Özcan went together to the room allocated to Veli Ağbaba. Yalım also alleged that Veli Ağbaba then told him "good evening" and asked him to leave the room.
VERY HARSH STATEMENT FROM GAMZE PAMUK ATEŞLİ
After the allegations hit the agenda like a bombshell, Gamze Pamuk Ateşli made a statement containing harsh expressions on her social media account. Ateşli used the following expressions in her statement: "You are vile, you are helpless, you are dishonorable! The former mayor, who was caught in a hotel room with his lover, is now trying to use my name to cover up his own disgrace. But lying also requires a certain level of intelligence. The person named in the statement became a PM member after my term. I am facing a slander mechanism so helpless that it cannot even account for this."

The former mayor, who was caught in a hotel room with his lover, is now trying to use my name to cover up his own disgrace. But lying also requires a certain level of intelligence. The person named in the statement became a PM member after my term. I am facing a slander mechanism so helpless that it cannot even account for this.
I will settle accounts with these dishonorable people who throw women's names around to cover up their own moral and human collapse, and try to smear mud everywhere when their reputation is ruined.
Those who put these lies there as a 'statement' just because I am a female politician, and those who are complicit in this baseness under the guise of so-called news, are partners in this serious crime.
I will not die like this. You cannot tarnish my spotless life with your filthy tongue. I say again: Let everyone know that I will fight these dishonorable people, hold them accountable manifold for their lies, and convict all of them, from their hitmen to their instigators, in that pit. Here I stand!
