A 4-year-old German child vacationing with his family in Manavgat, Antalya, died after falling through the railings on the 2nd floor of the hotel. The hotel's technical manager was arrested in connection with the incident, while the security manager was released with judicial control.

FELL TO THE GROUND THROUGH THE RAILING BARS
The incident occurred at around 20:30 on August 24 at a hotel operating in the Sorgun neighborhood of Manavgat. Eliya Shehin, a 4-year-old German citizen staying at the hotel with her family, fell to the ground through the railing bars in the corridor on the 2nd floor.
LOST HER 2-DAY BATTLE FOR LIFE
A medical team was dispatched to the scene upon notification. After the medical team's intervention, Shehin was taken to Antalya City Hospital for treatment. Shehin passed away on August 26.
TECHNICAL MANAGER ARRESTED
Following the complaint of the father, Mohamad Shehin (39), an investigation was launched into the incident. Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Manavgat Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the hotel's technical manager, who was taken into custody by the gendarmerie and referred to the criminal court of peace after his procedures, was arrested, while the security manager was released with judicial control.
