In Kayseri, one of two foreign nationals attacked by two 18-year-old suspects using pepper spray and a knife to rob their cell phones lost his life, and the other was injured. After the incident, the two suspects taken into custody were arrested, and security camera footage of the attack emerged.
Security camera footage has emerged of an incident in Kayseri where a foreign national was killed and another injured in a knife attack and phone robbery involving pepper spray.
BOTH ARE 18 YEARS OLD
The incident occurred at around 23:00 on August 8 on Yıldırım Street, Sahabiye District, Kocasinan county. E.T. (18) and B.K. (18) sprayed pepper spray on foreign nationals S.M. and N.M. who were walking on the road, attacked them with a knife, stole their mobile phones, and fled the scene. During the scuffle, S.M. and N.M. were injured by knife blows.
COULD NOT BE SAVED
Upon reports from those nearby, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to hospital by ambulance after initial medical intervention. S.M., who was seriously injured in the fight, could not be saved despite all efforts by doctors. S.M.'s body was laid to rest after autopsy procedures.
2 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Police teams launched an operation to catch the suspects who fled after the incident. Teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch, Homicide Bureau, carried out operations at the addresses of the suspects whose identities were determined regarding the 'Robbery' and 'Intentional homicide' case. E.T. and B.K. were caught in the operation. The 2 suspects, taken into custody, were arrested by the court after being referred to the courthouse following police procedures.

Meanwhile, security camera footage of the attack moment emerged. The footage shows a fight between two groups.
