The violent incident that occurred at Marmaray in Maltepe, Istanbul, has sparked a significant reaction on social media. A punch thrown at a father in front of his children caused outrage, while Sedat Peker's retweet of a post related to the incident also drew attention.
A father, D.E., traveling with his two children on the Marmaray in Istanbul, was attacked by two male passengers with punches during an argument with a woman over a seat. D.E., whose nose was broken, got off with his two children at the Süreyyapaşa Train Station in Yalı Mahallesi. A legal process was initiated for "intentional injury." As the parties fought again at the station, security personnel intervened, while other passengers tried to calm the frightened children.

Although the content of the argument remains unclear, the violence occurring in front of the children deeply resonated with the public. While the echoes of the incident continued, it drew attention that Sedat Peker retweeted a post about it.
"WE WILL MEET"
The post that Sedat Peker retweeted included the following statements: "After a punch thrown at a father next to a little girl in Marmaray in Maltepe, Sedat Peker's words came back to the agenda: If they hurt my sons, I would say; life is toughening them up. But it cannot happen to my daughters… We will meet."
