After Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, announced that he would go to the party headquarters tomorrow to take his seat, a notable development occurred. Today, a group attempting to enter the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency on behalf of Tekin was removed from the building by CHP youth. A person who was unable to enter the building said, "Those who have brought the CHP youth organization to this state should be ashamed."

The Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance had removed CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik and his team from their positions, appointing former MP Gürsel Tekin as the trustee, citing allegations of irregularities at the Istanbul Congress.

On Monday, Tekin was expected to go to the party headquarters with the trustee committee consisting of Zeki Şen, Hasan Babacan, Müjdat Gürbüz, and Erkan Narsap. However, Hasan Babacan and Müjdat Gürbüz withdrew from the committee.
