Dilruba said, "I'm addressing AKP supporters, why did you take offense? Those who are not mentally challenged were not offended, those who were offended should have a chamomile tea."

ARRESTED

Dilruba Kayserilioğlu, who criticized the blocking of Instagram in an interview on the streets of Izmir, was arrested on August 12th. She was charged with "inciting hatred and enmity among the public" and "insulting the president". Her lawyer, Hüseyin Yıldız, objected to her detention. However, the objection was rejected. Upon a second objection, Dilruba Kayserilioğlu's detention for the charge of "insult" was lifted and a travel ban was imposed.

Another objection was made for the release of Dilruba Kayserilioğlu, who was under arrest for the charge of "inciting hatred and enmity among the public". Upon this last objection, Kayserilioğlu was released. ÖZGÜR ÖZEL VISITED HER IN PRISON

Meanwhile, CHP leader Özgür Özel visited Kayserilioğlu in prison yesterday and made statements afterwards.

In an interview on Fatih Portakal's YouTube channel, Kayserilioğlu said that she will not apologize to those who took offense from the term "retarded" and used the following statements:

"What I said was this; anyone who goes after an idea without thinking about where it will lead is mentally challenged. If only AKP supporters took offense, then it's not my problem, it's theirs. I'm addressing AKP supporters here, why did you take offense? Those who are not mentally challenged were not offended. I think anyone who took offense needs psychological support. They should either have a chamomile tea or write in their diaries while crying. I do not apologize to anyone who took offense."
