Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı announced that Rahmi Koç will assist with the works at BJK Plaza in Akaretler. Adalı made statements regarding the BJK Plaza in Akaretler, saying, "Like all our other assets mentioned in the other items, we have started working on this since I came to the management. As a result of these studies and preliminary discussions, we included the issue in the extraordinary general assembly for you to authorize us to lease it for a period of 10 years or more. This building has been completely empty for about 2.5 years. It has been used as our club building for many years and was later leased to an auditing company. Unfortunately, it had to be vacated due to earthquake regulations. During this long period, this asset of ours has been left to its own devices, and no one has cared. In such a situation, having such a building remain completely empty is truly a significant loss. We haven't earned a single cent from here for 2.5 years. When we came to the management, we started working on the earthquake reinforcement for this building," he said.

''RAHMİ KOÇ WILL HELP''

Serdal Adalı also stated that Rahmi Koç would help them, saying, "As I mentioned in the last council meeting, we discussed the reinforcement costs with Mr. Rahmi Koç, and as always, he said he would make the necessary sacrifices for our Beşiktaş. I thank him for that. Since these reinforcement works will be completed, we need to include this in the club's economy under the best conditions. We want to achieve the highest possible return. To ensure the highest income, longer-term agreements are needed. Therefore, they want to make lease agreements for 20-25 years, not just 10 years. If the entire building is leased with a single agreement, the conditions can be much more positive for us. Agreements made piece by piece are not very effective. If we lease this place for a long time, we reach the best conditions. While we complete the licensing and tender processes, we conducted a study for the value of the building. Normally, if its value is at most 2-2.5 million euros annually, when evaluated this way, we have the opportunity to generate income close to 3.5 million euros. We believe we should evaluate it this way. We request your authorization for a lease of 10 years or more for Akaretler. If you grant us this authority today, we will have a chance to generate more income. If you do not find it appropriate, we can continue under the existing conditions." he stated.
