Following the United States' strike on Iran's Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities with 30 Tomahawk missiles, the current status of the facilities has become a topic of interest. The International Atomic Energy Agency reported that there has been no increase in radiation levels at Iran's nuclear facilities, including Fordo.

On the 10th day of the Israel-Iran war, the feared happened. The USA struck the Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities with 30 Tomahawk missiles.

TRUMP: NUCLEAR FACILITIES COMPLETELY DESTROYED

Speaking after the attack, US President Donald Trump stated that Iran's main nuclear enrichment facilities were completely and thoroughly destroyed, saying, "I can inform you tonight that the attacks were a magnificent military success. Iran's significant nuclear enrichment facilities were completely and thoroughly destroyed."

IS THERE AN INCREASE IN RADIATION LEVELS?

After the US attack, the current status of the nuclear facilities became a matter of curiosity. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that there was no increase in off-site radiation levels, including Fordo, following the nighttime attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities by the US.

In a statement made from the agency's X account, it was stated, "Following the attacks on three facilities in Iran, including Fordo, the IAEA confirms that no increase in off-site radiation levels has been reported so far." The statement noted that further assessments regarding the situation in Iran would be made by the IAEA as more information becomes available.

IRAN: NO DANGER WHATSOEVER

Iran also reported that inspections at the nuclear facilities targeted by the US attack found no leaks. The statement emphasized that it was understood there was no radioactive leakage in the facilities after the inspections, stating, "Considering the information recorded by radioactive material detection systems along with the precautions taken and previous planning, no signs of contamination have been recorded. Therefore, there is no danger to the residents living around the mentioned facilities."
