A notable confusion occurred in famous actress Serenay Sarıkaya's property tax payment. It was claimed that Sarıkaya paid twice for the same property.
Serenay Sarıkaya, who frequently makes the news with both her career and private life, is now being talked about for a payment she made.
Sarıkaya, who is among the taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance in terms of income tax, received a certificate of appreciation in March. The certificate of appreciation was presented to the famous actress by Istanbul Chief Revenue Officer Riza Bilgic.
It has been alleged that Sarıkaya paid twice for the same house due to a confusion in her property tax payments. According to information reported by journalist Mehmet Ustundag, it was stated that one of the payments was made by her assistant and the other by Sarıkaya herself.
According to the claim, the municipality initiated a process for the overpayment of approximately 30,000 liras, and it was stated that the amount was refunded to Sarıkaya.
