REACTION TO "HENCHMAN" WORDS
Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu's statement, which included the words "I knew Kubilay through Canbay, he used to do Canbay's dirty work," angered the family. Father Cemil Kundakçı emphasized that his son was not in such a position, stating, "My son was staying at Aleyna and Canbay's house. Security camera footage related to the murder has also emerged. It was revealed that the struggle claims defended by Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu in his statement were not reflected in the camera footage. It was determined that the murder in Ümraniye was committed in 7 seconds.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 19, in Sıddık Street, Tatlısu Neighborhood, Ümraniye, Kundakçı, who was sitting in a parked car with a friend, was seriously injured when one of the suspects who arrived at the scene in two vehicles fired a gun, and he later died in the hospital.
In the operation carried out by the Istanbul Police Department's Public Order Branch, 8 suspects, including singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu and Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, who was determined to have fired the gun, were captured.
In the operation conducted by the Homicide Bureau, the suspect who carried out the attack, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu's father B.K. and singer İzzet Yıldızhan were also detained.
After completing their procedures at the Istanbul Public Order Branch, the suspects were referred to the courthouse.
Among the suspects brought before the prosecutor at the courthouse, B.K. was released after his statement, while Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, İzzet Yıldızhan, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, M.R, H.C.A, M.K., and E.T. were referred to the peace court for arrest requests.
Other suspects A.Ö. and Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu were released under judicial control measures after their statements.
