Several People Killed In Bow And Arrow Attack In Norway

Suspected attacker arrested following assault in Kongsberg town near capital Oslo, police say.

Several people were killed and others injured in an attack by a man armed with a bow and arrows in the Norwegian town of Kongsberg, police said Wednesday.
Police chief in the town, Øyvind Aas, confirmed the casualties from the attack near the capital Oslo during a press conference, Norwegian broadcaster NRK reported.
The suspected attacker was arrested, according to police. The investigation into the incident is underway.
Several ambulances and helicopters have been dispatched to the scene. -
