As the conflict between the US-Israel and Iran enters its third day, airspace restrictions have affected flights. Actor Şevket Çoruh, İlker Ayrık, and host İvana Sert have been stranded in Dubai, the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates, due to flight cancellations.
Iran targeted Gulf countries in retaliation for the joint attack by Israel and the United States on Saturday evening, and flights were suspended. Due to the suspension of flights, actor Şevket Çoruh, İlker Ayrık, and presenter Ivana Sert were stranded in Dubai, the most populous city of the United Arab Emirates.
IVANA SERT SHARED HER FEARFUL MOMENTS
One of the missiles fired by Iran hit near Fairmont The Palm, which also has many Turkish names. Ivana Sert, who has been in Dubai with her son Ateş for a while, shared her fearful moments on Instagram.
Sert, whose flight was canceled, said, "We are living abnormal days. Alarms are constantly going off. It's frightening. The day we were supposed to return to our country, the flights were canceled. We want to come to Turkey as soon as possible. But the nearest flight seems to be on March 4."
"WE ARE STILL HERE"
Sert later used the following statements in a video she shared on her social media account:
"We are fine, we are still here with Ateş. Of course, we were scared; hearing rocket sounds and bomb sounds is not a good thing. Everything seems to be okay right now. The environment seems to be calming down. I advise you not to go out much. I think everything will return to normal the day after tomorrow."
İLKER AYRIK: WE CANNOT RETURN DUE TO KNOWN REASONS
İlker Ayrık shared on his personal social media account, "We came to Dubai for the play 'Bir Baba Hamlet' on February 27. We were planning to return today. However, we cannot return due to known reasons. My family is with me. The kids are missing some school. I hope their teachers won't mind. Thank you very much to everyone who has been curious, called, asked, and cared. We are all safe. I hope we return soon."
