A fire broke out in a shanty house in the Gülsuyu Neighborhood of Maltepe, Istanbul, at around 06:50 in the morning. Fire brigade teams rescued the mother and father trapped in the house with injuries. During a detailed search of the house, the lifeless body of 12-year-old İbrahim K. was found. While the child's body was taken to the morgue, an investigation was launched into the cause of the fire.

FLAMES ROSE IN THE MORNING HOURS
The fire broke out around 06:50 in a shanty house located on Hasan Bey Street in Maltepe Gülsuyu Neighborhood for a reason not yet known. After those who noticed the fire reported it, many firefighter, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
12-YEAR-OLD İBRAHİM COULD NOT BE SAVED
While firefighter teams intervened in the fire, they launched an operation to rescue the family trapped in the house. As a result of the teams' efforts, the mother and father in the house were rescued with injuries. Teams working to reach 12-year-old İbrahim K. in the house reached the child's lifeless body after a detailed search. İbrahim K.'s body was taken to the morgue after examinations.
An investigation has been launched into the fire.
