The bakery worker father recounted the nightmare-filled process live, describing the morning of June 5 when his daughter disappeared with these words: "I left home on the morning of June 5 in Bursa. I normally work at the bakery. As I was leaving home in the morning, my daughter said, 'Dad, I'm going to the city hospital, give me the keys.' Without suspicion, I handed her the keys."

Eryavaş stated that when he returned home around 11:00 AM, he couldn't find his daughter and waited helplessly until 5:00 PM. When no one came or went, the grieving father went out and learned from a friend he met at the coffeehouse that his daughter had run off with a person named Murat. Following up on the information, the father learned that his daughter had gone to Ankara with that person and had an unofficial religious marriage there. Trying to reach his daughter via social media, Eryavaş suffered another shock when he realized his daughter had blocked him on TikTok.

Metin Eryavaş, stating that his daughter had previously given birth to a child out of wedlock, expressed that the person she ran off with also had a similar past. The father, upon learning that his daughter had now run off with another man who also has a child out of wedlock, said he was in a great deadlock.
