A person living in Adana claimed that the woman he had a relationship with 36 years ago became pregnant and, a week before giving birth, ran away from home and sold the baby to a soldier stationed at Incirlik Air Base. The individual, who has been longing for his child for 36 years, stated, "During that time, many babies were sold to American soldiers. They sold my child to America as well."
Tekin Yavuz from Adana (63) met B.A. at his workplace on Abidinpaşa Street in the Seyhan district in 1987. The couple got married with a religious ceremony, and as a result of this union, the woman became pregnant. Allegedly, B.A. ran away from home a week before the birth. When Yavuz searched for his wife, he was shocked to receive the response from the woman he reached a year later: "You are very cunning. This child will not call you father." Later, Tekin, who could not reach the woman for many years, married Songül Yavuz in 1998, and they had three children together.
THE BABY MAY HAVE BEEN SOLD TO AMERICAN SOLDIERS
In 2003, Tekin reached B.A. again and learned that their child, born in 1988, had died. However, Yavuz could never find the grave of his child and lived with suspicion. In recent months, Tekin Yavuz reached B.A. again, but this time he started receiving threatening phone calls. Doubting the situation, Yavuz claimed that their child, born in 1988, was sold to American soldiers by B.A.'s brother-in-law, who was working as a laborer at the Incirlik 10th Main Jet Base at that time.
"I COULDN'T FIND MY CHILD'S GRAVE"
Tekin Yavuz, who has been longing for his child for 36 years, spoke to İhlas News Agency. Yavuz said, "She ran away from home a week before the birth. A year passed, and when I finally reached her, she told me, 'You are very cunning, this child will not call you father.' Years went by, and I couldn't reach her, but we met again in 2003. In 2003, she told me that my child had died. I traveled to many places, but I couldn't find my child's grave," he said.
"I WANT MY CHILDREN"
Yavuz, who pointed out that he has been threatened in recent months and that there is a possibility that the baby was sold to American soldiers at that time, said, "The woman called me and said the child is dead. Another man called and threatened me. B.A.'s brother-in-law was working as a laborer at the Incirlik 10th Main Jet Base at that time. Many babies were sold to American soldiers back then. They sold my child to America as well. Right now, B. has twins. I also have twins now. I claim that those children were also twins. My children are 36 years old, and I want my children," he expressed.
