In the trial held at the Ankara 32nd High Criminal Court, a total of 22 defendants, including 12 in custody, are being tried. Due to the hearing starting at 09:30, extensive security measures were taken around the prison. Traffic police and riot police were deployed on the roads leading to the prison, while numerous police vehicles, water cannons, and riot police were on standby in front of the prison. In addition to the prison perimeter, many police, gendarmerie, and prison staff took precautions in the courtroom where the hearing was held. OBJECTION TO THE EXPERT REPORTDetained defendant Doğukan Çep, who made a statement against the expert report, said, "Although Selman Bozkurt was shot in the right shoulder, it was written that he was shot in the left shoulder. Detained defendant Doğukan Çep's lawyer Emine Tosun also stated that they do not accept the expert report, saying, "Selman Bozkurt was shot from his right, not his left. I have also filed a criminal complaint against the expert in question and I request the rejection of this expert report." Other defendant lawyers also objected to the expert report.
