Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi made a statement regarding U.S. President Donald Trump's plan for Gaza. Sisi said, "We are ready to work with the U.S. for peace, but Gaza should be built without displacing the Palestinians."
Today, Jordan's King Abdullah II, who met with U.S. President Donald Trump yesterday and stated, "We are against the displacement of Palestinians," spoke with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
JOINT STANCE
In a statement from the Egyptian Presidency, it was reported that during their phone conversation, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and King Abdullah of Jordan said that Gaza should be rebuilt without displacing the Palestinians. The two leaders reiterated their joint stance against the displacement of Palestinians and emphasized their determination to continue coordination to ensure that the Palestinian people regain all their legitimate rights.
"WE ARE COMMITTED TO WORKING CLOSELY"
The meeting also addressed the establishment of a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, increasing humanitarian aid, and delivering it to all affected areas. Both leaders expressed their commitment to working closely with U.S. President Donald Trump to achieve a just and lasting peace in the Middle East.

Egyptian President Sisi also stated, "We are ready to work with the U.S. for peace in Gaza, but Palestinians must not be displaced." The meeting also discussed increasing coordination and consultation among Arab countries, as well as preparations for the emergency Arab summit to be held in Egypt on February 27.
