Sivasspor, a team in the Trendyol Süper Lig, has appointed Rıza Çalımbay as the head coach following Ömer Erdoğan. Çalımbay, who previously served at the club for a total of 7.5 years over two different periods, led the team to win the Ziraat Turkey Cup championship in 2022. The experienced coach also took the red-and-whites to European competitions for three consecutive seasons.
Trendyol Super League team Sivasspor, which parted ways with Ömer Erdoğan, has appointed Rıza Çalımbay, who has previously served as the head coach of the team for many years. After working with Hatayspor, he has returned to the Super League after 3 months.

CELEBRATED TURKISH CUP VICTORY
Rıza Çalımbay previously managed the red-and-white team during two periods between 2010-2013 and 2019-2023. Serving a total of 7.5 years at the Sivas representative, Çalımbay experienced the Ziraat Turkey Cup championship in 2022 as the head coach. The experienced coach also succeeded in taking the red-and-whites to European cups for 3 consecutive seasons.
