Due to adverse weather conditions affecting Istanbul, it has been announced that there will be a 15% reduction in flight operations at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport on January 18-19, 2026. On the other hand, AJet announced that 38 flights departing from and arriving at Sabiha Gökçen have been canceled on January 18-19.

SABİHA GÖKÇEN DECISION

The Sabiha Gökçen Airport Authority HEAŞ, a subsidiary of the Presidency of Defense Industries, announced that due to the adverse weather conditions experienced throughout Istanbul, there will be a 15% reduction in flight operations at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport today and tomorrow.

In a statement from HEAŞ, it was said, "According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, due to the adverse meteorological conditions experienced throughout Istanbul, there will be a 15% reduction in flight operations at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport on January 18, 2026 (today) and January 19, 2026 (Monday) throughout the day. We kindly request our passengers to follow the latest information regarding their flights through the official websites and call centers of the relevant airlines."

AJET CANCELED 38 FLIGHTS

On the other hand, AJet announced that 38 flights departing from and arriving at Sabiha Gökçen have been canceled on January 18-19.
