"TURKEY HAS NOT JUST STARTED SUPPORTING THE SOMALI PEOPLE"
Mohamud, emphasizing that Turkey supported the country during Somalia's difficult times, noted: "Turkey did not just come to Somalia, nor did it just start supporting the Somali people. Turkey came here at a time when different countries were present and helped Somalia emerge from its difficult situation. It trained our army and provided support in the economic field and public services."
"THERE ARE HIRED INDIVIDUALS WHO WANT TO DENIGRATE RELATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES"
Mohamud, stating that there are circles targeting the relations between Turkey and Somalia, said, "Why is Turkey constantly brought up now? There are hired individuals who want to denigrate the relations between the two countries, which have evolved from humanitarian aid to strategic partnership."
