Ugan, who stated that he was in high spirits during the treatment process and had completed his first chemotherapy, noted that he was holding on to life with the support of his wife and children.

Born on May 24, 1963, in Sakarya, Sabri Ugan began his media career as a reporter at Sakarya Newspaper in 1985. Rising to the position of sports director in 1991, Ugan stepped into commentary by narrating Sakaryaspor's matches. He then worked at major channels such as Kanal 6 and Star TV. Ugan narrated matches in the Super League, Champions League, and UEFA Europa League, taking on significant roles in many sports channels throughout his career. He also has a book titled "Arda Turan: The Lion-Hearted Captain."
