The Director of Van Social Security Institution (SGK), Abidin Göksoy, emphasized that no one should trust SMS messages with IBAN numbers regarding General Health Insurance (GSS) premium debts, and warned citizens. Göksoy, the director of SGK, stated that some individuals attempt to defraud citizens by calling or sending SMS messages, claiming that they have GSS debts and asking for payments with IBAN numbers, otherwise they will resort to enforcement for collection. 'WE WANT CITIZENS TO BE CAUTIOUS'Göksoy said, "The Social Security Institution does not have an application for payment of General Health Insurance debts through IBAN via SMS. Those who have GSS debts should only make payments through ATM, internet banking, mobile banking, or e-government using only their TC identification number for SGK payments or SGK premium collections from contracted banks. Otherwise, if the money is transferred to the sent IBAN number or account number, they will be exposed to fraud. We want citizens to be cautious about this."
