Galatasaray Club Doctor Yener İnce dismissed the speculation regarding Mauro Icardi and stated that he did not request a report. İnce mentioned that he speaks with Icardi and his doctor every day, that the player's injury process is progressing normally, and that the speculation is not true.

Galatasaray has completed its preparations for the match against the Dutch representative Ajax, which will take place tomorrow away in the 8th and final week of the UEFA Europa League.

The training session, held under the management of head coach Okan Buruk at the Florya Metin Oktay Facilities, started with a dynamic warm-up and was open to the press for the first 15 minutes. The training continued with an 8-on-2 ball recovery drill and concluded with tactical organization for the match.

"I DID NOT ASK HIM FOR A REPORT"

Galatasaray Club Doctor Yener İnce made statements to the press during the training. Noting that there has been a lot of speculation regarding Mauro Icardi, İnce stated, "I talk to Icardi every day. I did not ask him for a report. I also did not make any statement that I asked for a report. I talk to Icardi and his doctor every day. The recovery time for players with the same injury in other teams is 8-9 months. He can return in 6 months, but it wouldn't be reasonable. It would be risky. He is going through a normal process. The speculations are not true."

İnce also added, "We have videos of the training sessions conducted every day. He is working on his own. We hope he will be on the field in 8-9 months. As the medical team, we are monitoring the process. We do not have a communication problem as described."

Yener İnce mentioned that footballer Kerem Demirbay did not participate in the training and regarding Ismail Jakobs, he said, "In the last match, Kerem Demirbay had an issue with his groin muscle. Kerem Demirbay's treatment will continue for 2-3 weeks. The other players are here. Ismail Jakobs is also in training. He had pain in his Achilles tendon. We will assess his condition. The coach will decide what action to take."
