The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced that it has parted ways with A National Team head coach Vincenzo Montella. While it was announced that the Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation will continue in office until the date of the ordinary elective general assembly, it was stated that a decision was made not to continue with A National Football Team head coach Vincenzo Montella.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced that it has parted ways with Italian head coach Vincenzo Montella.
Here is the TFF's statement:
''The Turkish Football Federation Board of Directors, at its meeting held today, decided to continue in office until the date of the ordinary elective general assembly.
It has been decided to appoint substitute board members Mr. İbrahim Özbay and Mr. Metin Akyüz in place of the two principal board members who resigned earlier. It has been decided not to continue with our A National Team Head Coach Mr. Vincenzo Montella.
Mr. Ahmet Erzurumlu, who currently serves as TFF Registration Affairs Director, has been appointed in place of General Secretary Mr. Abdullah Ayaz, who submitted his resignation to the TFF Board of Directors in recent days. It is respectfully announced to the public.''
