The AK Party Diyarbakır Provincial Youth Branch hung a striking banner in Diyarbakır after the Law Proposal on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Cohesion, prepared within the scope of the 'Terror-Free Türkiye' process, was accepted and enacted in the Turkish Grand National Assembly General Assembly. The banner, hung on an overpass on the Diyarbakır-Şanlıurfa highway, thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Kurdish, with the words 'Chief, thank you very much. May peace be auspicious, and brotherhood be everlasting.'
The AK Party Diyarbakır Provincial Youth Branch conveyed its message regarding the 'Terror-Free Türkiye' process with a banner hung on one of the city's important routes.
THANKS TO ERDOĞAN WITH A KURDISH BANNER
The banner hung on an overpass on the Diyarbakır-Şanlıurfa highway featured the words 'Chief, thank you very much. May peace be auspicious, and brotherhood be everlasting' in Kurdish.
The banner was hung following the acceptance and enactment of the Law Proposal on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Cohesion in the TBMM General Assembly.
'PEACE AND SECURITY ARE IMPORTANT FOR DIYARBAKIR'
AK Party Diyarbakır Provincial Youth Branch President Enes Çimen made a written statement on the matter.
Stating that Diyarbakır is an important city with its historical and cultural characteristics, as well as its young population, production power, and position in the region, Çimen noted that significant investments have been made in the city over the past 25 years in transportation, health, education, agriculture, irrigation, youth and sports, and infrastructure.
Çimen emphasized that at this point, the continuity of peace and security is as important as investments for Diyarbakır.
'WHERE THERE IS PEACE, THERE IS INVESTMENT'
Stating that Türkiye completely leaving behind its terror problem and the 'Terror-Free Türkiye' goal reaching a permanent result will be an important opportunity for Diyarbakır's future, Çimen included the following statements in his remarks:
'Where there is peace, there is investment, production increases, and young people look to the future with more hope. We believe that with 'Terror-Free Türkiye', Diyarbakır's potential in tourism, agriculture, industry, and trade will be utilized much better.'
YOUNG PEOPLE EMPHASIZE EMPLOYMENT AND EDUCATION
Çimen also noted that as young people, they appreciate the services provided in the city so far, but Diyarbakır still has problems that need to be solved.
Noting that among Diyarbakır's priorities are more employment, new job opportunities for young people, higher quality education, and increasing social spaces, Çimen stated that efforts should continue so that young people in the city can look to the future with more hope.
'WE WANT DIYARBAKIR TO REACH THE PLACE IT DESERVES'
Stating that they want the opportunities in front of Diyarbakır to increase even more with the realization of the 'Terror-Free Türkiye' goal, Çimen concluded his statement as follows:
'With the Terror-Free Türkiye goal, we want the opportunities in front of our city to increase further and for Diyarbakır to reach the place it deserves. We will continue to work for the future of Diyarbakır, voice its problems, and offer solutions.'
