U.S. Secretary Kennedy shared the new decision regarding COVID-19 vaccines, which had previously been a topic of discussion in the country, in a statement made on his X account. Kennedy stated that from now on, the COVID-19 vaccine will not be included among the "recommended vaccines" for healthy children and pregnant women.
The U.S. Secretary said in his statement, "As of today, the COVID vaccine has been removed from the vaccination program recommended by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) for healthy children and healthy pregnant women. Last year, the Biden administration had called on healthy children to receive the COVID vaccine again, despite the lack of any clinical data to support a repeated booster strategy in children."
