Striking documents have emerged in the investigation into the death of the late BBP Chairman Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu. While radar records showed images of 2 F-16 and 1 F-4 fighter jets flying in the region during the hours when the accident was assessed to have occurred, a note from the period's security director responsible for intelligence included information that Yazıcıoğlu had a broken leg and was alive. Additionally, it was determined that critical equipment on the helicopter was removed by soldiers who were not on duty.

Under the coordination of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a simultaneous operation was carried out in 10 provinces centered in Ankara within the scope of the investigation into the helicopter crash in 2009 that killed Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu and 5 others. It was reported that 25 suspects were detained in the operation, while 2 suspects were in prison and 2 suspects were abroad.

25 SUSPECTS DETAINED IN MUHSİN YAZICIOĞLU INVESTIGATION

Within the scope of the investigation, 29 suspects were identified who were considered to have committed the crimes of 'establishing, managing, and being a member of an armed terrorist organization' and 'premeditated murder.'

It was stated that 2 of the suspects were found to be in prison, and a simultaneous operation was carried out on July 13, 2026 at 05:00 against the addresses of 27 suspects located in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Balıkesir, Adana, Antalya, Çanakkale, Bursa, Isparta, and Afyonkarahisar, centered in Ankara.

It was reported that 25 suspects were captured within the scope of the operation, while it was learned that 2 suspects were in prison and 2 suspects could not be captured as they were abroad, and efforts to capture these individuals are ongoing. The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that the investigation is being conducted thoroughly and meticulously in all respects.

F-16s FLEW IN THE CRASH AREA

Striking documents related to the investigation have emerged. It was determined that two F-16s and one F-4 aircraft conducted flights near the crash site during the time period considered to be when the accident occurred.

Striking details were also included in the information note transmitted to the police by D.Ö., the then Deputy Director of the Kahramanmaraş Intelligence Branch and Police Chief. The note stated that Yazıcıoğlu's leg was broken and that he was not dead.

THEY REMOVED IMPORTANT DEVICES FROM THE HELICOPTER

It was proven by documents that after the helicopter crashed, a group of soldiers went to the crash site even though they were not on duty, and removed important devices from the helicopter such as the GPS and black box.

In the first report dated 31.03.2009 prepared by the civilian accident investigation team, information that the devices in the helicopter had been removed was included, while in the second report dated 15.04.2009, it was seen that it was stated that the devices needed to be taken immediately due to rainy weather.
