SPANISH COMPANIES MAY JOIN THE KAAN PROJECT
Defense analyses suggested that Spanish defense industry companies could take part in the production and development process of KAAN. It was particularly commented that the cooperation between Spain and Turkey, which previously began with the HÜRJET training aircraft, could be extended to the KAAN project.
Some assessments indicated that a potential collaboration could encompass avionics systems, composite structures, and the development of a version suitable for naval platforms.
CLAIM OF KAAN AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE F-35
It has been reported that Spain has recently suspended its plans for US-made F-35 fighter jets and is shifting towards Europe-based defense projects. According to news in the Spanish press, KAAN is being considered as one of the alternative options in this process.

INTERNATIONAL INTEREST IN KAAN IS INCREASING
International media had previously reported interest from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates in Turkey's national fighter jet, KAAN.
