YILDIRIMHAN ATTRACTS ATTENTION WITH ITS FEATURES
Developed by the R&D Center of the Ministry of National Defense, the intercontinental ballistic missile Yıldırımhan stands out with its high-level strategic features, especially its 6,000-kilometer range. The missile, which has 4 liquid fuel rocket engines, is the largest intercontinental ballistic missile Turkey has ever developed.
RESULT OF 10 YEARS OF WORK
The missile, which is 17.5 meters long and 1.5 meters in diameter, emerged as a result of approximately 10 years of work. YILDIRIMHAN also attracted attention with its design. On one side of the missile is the tughra of Sultan Yıldırım Bayezid Han, while on the nose section is the signature of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
