The second hearing of the case regarding the murder of footballer Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı in an armed attack has begun. Tensions rose in front of the courtroom before the hearing. Upon learning that the witness would testify in support of rapper Vahap Canbay's statement, father Kundakçı reacted in front of the courtroom, saying, "May God curse those who lie."
The second hearing of the Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı murder case began today at the Anadolu 27th Heavy Penal Court. Before the hearing started, father Cemil Kundakçı reacted when he learned that a witness would testify in support of rapper Canbay's statement.
SECOND HEARING BEGAN
The second hearing of the case regarding the armed attack on a vehicle also occupied by rapper Canbay on March 19 in Ümraniye, Istanbul, which resulted in the death of Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, began today at the Anadolu 27th Heavy Penal Court.
In the indictment prepared by the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that footballer Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı died as a result of an armed attack in Ümraniye. In the indictment, which was prepared within the scope of the investigation conducted in connection with the incident, life imprisonment was demanded for Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu and Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, while up to 5 years of imprisonment was sought for İzzet Yıldızhan.
FATHER KUNDAKÇI'S REACTION TO THE 'STATEMENT'
Father Kundakçı reacted when he learned that a witness named Yalçınay Ayyıldız would testify in support of rapper Vahap Canbay's statement.
Reacting to Ayyıldız in front of the courtroom, father Kundakçı shouted, "Liar." As tensions rose, father Kundakçı responded to a journalist's question, saying, "He will give a statement in the style of Canbay's statement. He is supporting him right now. He is approaching it in a way that says, 'His statement is true, we couldn't give it properly at first due to shock.' I wasn't expecting anything else anyway."
"MAY ALLAH CURSE THE LIAR"
Father Kundakçı then reacted loudly in front of the courtroom so that everyone could hear, saying, "But may Allah curse him. May Allah curse the liar."

Today in the hearing, the trial of arrested defendants Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, Hüseyin Can Avcı, Mustafa Rece, Metin Kadayıfçıoğlu, and Ahmet Özkoç, as well as non-custodial defendant Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, will continue.
