The "tender, corruption, and bribery" debate in the Turkish Grand National Assembly has escalated tensions. CHP member Veli Ağbaba, angered by AK Party member Osman Gökçek's claim that personal gains were made through municipalities in Mersin, said, "Anyone who benefits from public property is dishonorable, shameless, and lacking in dignity. Let's investigate their assets. What do you even do? What have you done so far? The people sitting next to your father, AK Party members, were dismissed from their positions. Why? Were they thieves or members of FETÖ?"

The debate on "tenders, corruption, and bribery" erupted between CHP member Veli Ağbaba and AK Party member Osman Gökçek in the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament. When AK Party member Osman Gökçek accused CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır and CHP member Veli Ağbaba of "personal gain through municipalities" in Mersin, CHP member Ağbaba reacted strongly.

STRONG WORDS FROM VELI AĞBABA

Ağbaba addressed Gökçek from the podium with a very harsh tone, saying, "You are a troll in disguise. You have no shame, no decency, nothing. Whoever owns a square meter of land in Mezitli is dishonorable, shameless, and without dignity. Whoever spreads false accusations is dishonorable, shameless, and without dignity. Let's investigate your assets."

"THEY FORCIBLY TOOK THE ARMORED VEHICLES FROM YOUR FATHER"

For God's sake, what do you do for a living? What have you done so far? The people sitting next to your father, AK Party members, were dismissed from their positions. Why? Were they thieves or members of FETÖ? Mansur Yavaş forcibly took the armored vehicles from your father. You are a man who has become rich without doing any work, who knows nothing but slander, and who lacks honor and integrity," he said.

ASSEMBLY ADJOURNED

Following the debate, Bekir Bozdağ, the Deputy Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, adjourned the General Assembly.
