In a traffic accident that occurred in the Çine district of Aydın, 2 women lost their lives and 1 child was injured. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
In Aydın's Çine district, a car whose driver lost control of the steering wheel flew into an olive grove by the roadside, resulting in the death of 2 women and injuries to 1 child.
According to information obtained, at around 22:30 at the Hallaçlar Neighborhood Junction on the Aydın-Muğla Highway, the car driven by Melek Özdağlar (39), which was traveling in the direction of Çine, flew into the olive grove by the roadside after the driver lost control of the steering wheel for an unknown reason.
2 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE GRUESOME ACCIDENT
The driver Özdağlar, who crashed into an olive tree in the field, and the passenger Sibel Beyhan Toprak (41) and S.I. (10) were trapped in the vehicle. Those who witnessed the accident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, health, police, gendarmerie, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area.
Health teams, who arrived at the scene shortly, determined that the driver Özdağlar and the passenger Toprak had lost their lives during their checks, while S.I., who was rescued from the trapped vehicle by the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department teams, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the first intervention. An investigation has been launched regarding the accident.
