CAR DRAGGED 30 METERS BY THE IMPACT OF THE COLLISION
The accident occurred around 03:30 on Ahıska Street in the Çalı neighborhood of the central Nilüfer district. According to the information obtained, a jeep with license plate 16 GY 114, driven by Gülçin Y.K., which was speeding on Ahıska Street, hit the car with license plate 34 NVG 362, driven by Yalçın Öz, which was trying to turn onto Alaaddinbey Street from Ahıska Street. Due to the impact of the collision, the car with license plate 34 NVG 362 was dragged 30 meters. The jeep only came to a stop after hitting 2 parked vehicles.
THE TWO PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES WERE SECURITY GUARDS
Upon the notification, numerous police, health, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. Police teams arriving at the scene took security measures around the area, while health teams determined that Yalçın Öz and Olgun Yıldız, who was in the same vehicle, had lost their lives after their examinations.
JEEP DRIVER SERIOUSLY INJURED
The driver of the jeep with license plate 16 GY 114, Gülçin Y.K., was seriously injured, while Yağmur Y., who was in the passenger seat, was also injured. The lifeless bodies of the private security guards who lost their lives at the scene were taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue after the prosecutor's investigation.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident.
