In a chain collision involving 3 cars in the Salihli district of Manisa, 2 people lost their lives and 5 others, including 2 children, were injured.
The car driven by Samet Ulusoy, which was traveling on the İzmir-Ankara D300 highway in the Salihli district of Manisa, crossed into the opposite lane after the driver lost control of the steering wheel and collided with the car driven by Ali Karakurt and another vehicle driven by Hasan E.
2 DEAD, 5 INJURED
After the accident, which turned into a life-and-death situation, many health, fire, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. During the examination by the health teams, it was determined that the drivers of the cars, Samet Ulusoy and Ali Karakurt, died at the scene, while the passengers in all three vehicles, Sinem K. (29), Esra K. (28), Elisa K. (3), Aras K. (1), and Adile E. (34), were injured.
THEY ARE IN CRITICAL CONDITION
The injured were taken to Salihli State Hospital and Medigüneş Hospital by ambulances after the first intervention by the health teams. It was learned that Sinem K., Esra K., Elisa K., and Aras K. are in critical condition.
The lifeless bodies of Samet Ulusoy and Ali Karakurt were removed from the wreckage by the fire brigade and taken to the hospital morgue. It was learned that an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
