In the Demirci district of Manisa, 56-year-old Erol Uçar and his sister, 54-year-old Nurten Erdoğan, lost their lives in an accident where two cars collided due to a lane violation. Two people in the other vehicle were also injured.
Two brothers lost their lives and two people were injured in an accident in the Demirci district of Manisa, where a car that went out of control crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with another vehicle.
LANE VIOLATION CAUSED THE ACCIDENT
The accident occurred around 13:30 on the Sindirgi-Simav highway in the Sogutcuk neighborhood of the Demirci district of Manisa. The car with license plate 10 ZD 808, driven by Erol Ucar, who was traveling from Sindirgi towards Simav, collided with the car with license plate 06 MGG 62, driven by Murathan Gokce (44), coming from the opposite direction, after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. Health, gendarmerie, and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident caused by a lane violation.
TWO BROTHERS LOST THEIR LIVES
In the checks carried out by health teams, it was determined that the car driver Erol Ucar and his sister Nurten Erdogan, who was next to him, lost their lives, while the driver of the other car, Murathan Gokce, and Cihan Gokce (34), who was with him, were injured. It was reported that the injured, who were taken to Simav State Hospital by ambulance, were in good condition and did not have any life-threatening conditions.
The lifeless bodies of the two brothers who died in the accident were taken to the Demirci State Hospital morgue for an autopsy after the prosecutor and gendarmerie completed their examination at the scene.
On the road, where transportation was provided under control for a while due to the accident, traffic returned to normal 1 hour later after the vehicles were towed away. The investigation into the accident continues.
