In the Fındıklı district of Rize, a car driven by M.Ç. (47) collided with another car driven by V.A. (35) while making a left turn at an intersection on the Black Sea Coastal Road.

1 PERSON DIED, 8 PEOPLE INJURED

In the accident, the drivers and passengers Bahtişen G., Neslihan A., Sümeyye A., Sude Ç., Meyra Ç., İlayda Ç., and Fatma Ç. were injured. Upon notification, AFAD, AKUT, gendarmerie, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured individuals were carried on stretchers by the teams that arrived at the accident site and were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances.

Bahtişen G. died while receiving treatment at the hospital. It was reported that the treatment of the other injured individuals is ongoing, and an investigation into the accident is underway.
