A young mechanic working at a car maintenance service in the Ünye district of Ordu was found dead along with his friend. It was learned that one of the deceased individuals had previously been reported missing by their family, while initial examinations at the scene indicated that there might be a gas leak in a vehicle left for repair. The exact cause of death for the mechanic and his friend will be clarified after autopsy procedures are conducted.

RELATIVES AND BUSINESS OWNER FOUND THEM
The incident occurred at a vehicle engine maintenance service located on Irmak Street. According to the information obtained, relatives and the business owner, who had not heard from them in the morning, came to the shop. Upon opening the door, it was seen that two people were motionless on the ground. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
FAMILY HAD FILED A MISSING PERSON REPORT
Upon inspection, it was determined that 27-year-old Oğuzhan Bölükbaş, who was learned to be an employee of the business, and his 24-year-old friend Sami Güzel, who was with him, had lost their lives. It was learned that Sami Güzel's family had previously filed a missing person report. It is estimated that the two friends came to the workplace last night to repair a vehicle.
INITIAL FINDINGS INDICATED 'GAS LEAK'
In the work of the crime scene investigation teams, it was reported that the ignition of the vehicle next to the young men was on, and signs of a gas leak were found in another car that was in the shop for repair. After the examination by the public prosecutor, the lifeless bodies of Bölükbaş and Güzel were taken to the morgue of Ünye State Hospital for the determination of the exact cause of death.
"THERE WERE SMELLS OF GAS INSIDE"
The business owner Dursun Elveren stated that they encountered a heavy scene when they opened the shop in the morning, noting that there was a strong smell of gas inside and that they saw two people motionless. Elveren said, "When we couldn't reach our friends in the morning, we came here to check the shop. When we opened the shop, we encountered a bad scene. There were smells of gas inside. The lifeless bodies of two people were inside. We work here on oil changes, undercarriage maintenance, and engine maintenance. Oğuzhan Bölükbaş, who passed away, was our master. I do not know the other friend," he said. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
